13km river raft ride to Patara Beach through the remote valleys. Suitable for swimmers from age 12 upwardsFor this less adventurous, or family groups, canoeing on gentler waters is also great fun. Barbeque lunch by the riverside is included.

Kalkan is a super place for scuba diving because of the very clear waters that give great visibilty. And because the sea is calm and tide-free, it is a great place for beginners to learn how to dive. The Kalkan Dive Centre gives clients specialized service and introductory and certification courses. Also, deep diving, night diving, wreck diving and underwater navigation. I went for an introductory dive with this company and they were very good, explained things well, and my husband dives with them often. They have free introductory lessons.
