Favorite thing: KAS is probably one of the most remarkable place that you can witness..
So untouched, so nice..
There will be moments that you can go crazy.. All those sarcophagos are standing there for many many years.. And you can visit them just passing by a boat.. the walls of the houses, can also be recognized..
No entrance fee, no museum charges.. Just open air.. Free history..

Favorite thing: Sunset is telling you that another nice day at KAs has ended.. A cosy night is waiting for you..
The town kas faces to the south mediterrenean.. And the sunset on the west side can only be seen as the sun going down from the mountains.. But still a nice atmosphere..

Favorite thing: Just in front of Kas bay there is a greek island.. So close to Kas.. You can even reach there by swimming but dont ever try..
There are regular boat services that are travelling between the Islands.. Please care for the patrol boats..
Just see how the distance between the island and the land from the picture..

Fondest memory: on backstage,MEIS in turkish,KASTELLORIZO or MEGISTI, in greek,the farest east greek island...2,5km from kas,9km2,230inh.
in kas,until the years around 1920,many inhabitants were greek...then,turkey and greece repatriated their citizens,under compulsion...
