Good for: Couples
Great tradional Turkish Dishes as well as normal Steaks, Lamb chops, Chicken dishes. A good meal and a lager for around £5. No problem with languages and very friendly waiters. In all, a great place to enjoy a meal!!!
Favorite Dish: When we are in Turkey we like to try Turkish food and we have never been disappointed. My favourite dish is the Otterman Pan which is a very tasty lamb stew.
please be very careful when using the ATM machine in Mahmutler as i was approached by two guys who were pretending to be helpful and they robbed my card and stole over €1000 in less than one hour in the mahmutler /alanya area.luckily i copped what they had done fairly quickly and rang visa who put a stop on the card .I am not the first person this has happened to in this area and i think the bank should have a camera on the ATM machines .Just be careful!!!!other than that it is a fab place to holiday, good food ,good weather ,my beautiful apartment(Georgian Residence Apts)and the people. What more could you want?
This is the sort of countryside there is around the town of Mahmutlar, vast open spaces with hardly a person in sight, now this is the place i would love to live
