Doliskana (or Dolishane in Turkish)
This is another Georgian church that one may visit on his way from Yusufeli to Artvin. Even though it seems close from the road, its location is quite high on the hill.

Artanuj Castle is an interesting place to visit. Especially for those who have some Georgian roots...
Artanuj used to be a former Georgian capital and Georgian King Ashot Krapalat had a residence there. It is from here that Georgia began to unite in the Xth centurty.

Yeni Rabat is one of the very few still remaining churches in Eastern Turkey. It is in a bad shape, though is worth of visit.
Nature is fantastic though a rooad to this church a little bit scary.

Dortkilise (or Otkhta eklesia in Georgian) is another magnificent church in the Eastern Turkey. It is quite similar to Parkhal. For some reason a lot of people underestimate Parkhal thinking that from architectural standpoint it is not really great and giving their preference to Dortkilise.
Unlike Barhal church Dortkilise has not been transformed into mosque and consequently noone takes care of it. It is in a bad shape though a number of other Georgian churches are in a much worse shape.

There is another Georgia church in the direction of Tekkale. It happened so that access to this church has been demolished. One can not go there unless he is not an alpinist. Though one may see this church from a distance.
I have never been there though i plan to climb there along with frined of mine for my next - 4th Eastern Turekey expedition.
