Just near the EFTENI lake if you will take the sign of GUZELDERE SELALESI (means GUZELDERE WATERFALL in Turkish), you will have the chance to see this magnificient wild waterfall hidden around the mountains. Distance between the sign to the waterfall is approximately 10 km. There is a very nice picnic and tea area just before the main entrance of waterfall. If you will walk around the the walking path, you will easily see this amazing waterfall behind the trees.
People are very friendly and welcoming,but unfortunately noone can be able to speak very good English.

Efteni lake is one of the amazing places of DUZCE city,quite easy to reach and discover both from ISTANBUL and SAKARYA cities. You can be able to walk around the lake,relax and take wonderful photos. There is a possibility to stay in a middle class hotel if you do not want to return back from EFTENI which is not so far away from the lake if you wish.Name of the hotel is EFTENIA TERMAL RESORT.
Nature is really so wonderful to discover especially for those who are interested in wild nature photographing.
