Leman Kültür: A popular nightlife spot
Leman Kültür is a very popular spot amongst the university students. Its name originally comes from a comic magazine. The decoration is very cool with famous characters from this comic magazine and you may need to wait for some time to get a table. If you would like to experience the nightlife of Bursa, this may be a good spot to start with.

Ka Bar: Good Pub for socializing
Ka Bar is Turkey's version of a British pub. The lights are soft, the music changes depending on the crowd, but the taps flow freely and the bar & tables are arranged for easy socializing. There are even a couple of dart boards in the back.
In the summer, there is a beer garden in the back. Easily a place where you can loose track of time.

Places to drink and live music in Bursa :)
Actually Bursa isn’t the best place for nightlife but there are some places!
Heykel: (This means the area by the Ataturk statue)
In Heykel, if you're coming from Cekirge, the main road ends in a T-junction but there is a pedestrian road opposite. RESIMLI ROCK BAR is nearby on that road on the right. There are usually live music groups at the weekend and it's 4ytl for 50mls Efes beer.
:) Also near Heykel, there is a nice pub called LEMAN KULTUR. It is down a side street on the left by the side of the theatre at Heykel. It also has a beer garden in the summer and live music every evening (just one or two people singing and playing guitar) and it is cheaper than Ka Bar. There are always some people in Leman Kultur, summer or winter, even on weeknights when other places can be dead so a good place to go any day of the week. If you like food with your beer, it's got a reasonable menu too.
A little further away are two more bars in Setbasi. When the road ends in a T-junction, go right to get to Setbasi. It is only 5 minutes by foot from Heykel. On the left side of the road is Prestige Cinema. Opposite is another road and on that road are two bars: La Bella on the left of the road(which is more expensive) and another place opposite on the right of the road(I always forget the name but it also has a beer garden and is cheaper than La Bella. There's also a restaurant on the bottom floor of La Bella which serves alcohol.
Altiparmak: (the road going from Cekirge Caddesi to Heykel)
A place called M LOUNGE is on the right up some stairs.
For men, a place called CICEK PASAJI (Flower Passage) is a large cheap place with lots of smaller areas inside, on the left of the road, opposite the cinema. Very popular with the men to watch football on TV.
KA BAR with a beer garden is on Cekirge Caddesi. It's quite expensive (currently 7ytl for 50mls Efes beer!) They sometimes have live music. Another two places are also on the same road: BARKOD is newish and PILSEN PUB has just got a new owner and will maybe change name but has bar football. They are all on the same side of the road (i.e. on the right if you are going from Cekirge Meydan (Cekirge Square) towards Heykel.(the Attaturk statue in the centre of town)
Also, around Cekirge (5-10minutes on foot from Cekirge Meydan) is a very popular place called HIGHOUT in Kukurtlu which is open late (often still open when everywhere else has closed for the night!) and is packed at weekends. It’s on Oulu Caddesi (Barlar Sokağı). It is near a shopping centre called Pembe Carsi and there are also some other bars nearby, such as SEY PUB. See http://www.high-out.com/ulasim.php for map.
Out of town:
Further out of town is the very popular KAT 3 and SUARE. Kat 3 has different bands playing at the weekends and also on Wednesdays. (Currently kareoke on Thursdays!)You have to pay to get in at the weekend when bands are playing. It is about 15ytl from Cekirge by taxi (more after midnight). (Ask for ‘Magazin Outlet Center, Ataevler) If you want to get the metro you will need to get off in Besevler, not Ataevler and walk 15 minutes but the metro stops early so you’ll need a taxi home anyway. A new place called SUARE is also there on the top floor for bigger bands.
None: Summer Time drinking
In Bursa, most of the restaurants we went to wouldn't service us alcohol. After two days we figured out that since most of the people in the city were Muslims that perhaps they did not serve alcohol. We mostly went to the rooftop restaurants but the food wasn't very good. It seems that more of the local people in the area were just having tea. But the views were SPECTACULAR.
However, during the winter, I'm sure most of the ski resorts would have active bars and skiing is what they mostly bost in the area.

Nightlife is very active in Uludag during the ski season. Uludag is said to be the 'Bodrum' of winter seaason, so do not miss it!
