Koza han- Great for resting and shopping

by Tuna_ank

You can find nice and cheap silks. I bought very nice Klimt-Kiss silk there, because they are making them for Austuria. But unfortunately it wasn't cheap! And after the shopping you can drink coffee or tea at the courtyard. There are many hans like it and some of them has courtyard like it.It builded at 1490 by 2. Sultan Beyazýt

IRGANDI çarsili köprü (bridge with the storeys)

by Tuna_ank

Irgandi bridge was constructed by Pir Ali in 1442 . According to historical sources ; there were 31 shops, a masjid, and 2 depots on the bridge. It suffered severe damage by the earthquake in 1885. The a small part of the bridge collapsed during the War of Independence . After the war , it was rebuilt as wooden . The bridge is one of the four bridges in the world which have shops on . I loved it.

Eating Grilled Sausage in Uludag

by voyageur2

Uludag is not only a mountain or a ski resort. It is also a large area containing a national park. Winter is the most popular season over there. And tasting grilled sausages in Uludag is a great experience. Try it, you will feel its unique speciality after a winter day with outdoor activities. If you are keen on wines, I strongly recommend you warmed wine.

Uludag National Park

by WulfstanTraveller

Uludag (Great Mountain) is the large mountain looming over the city of Bursa. High up this peak is Uludag Milli Parki, Uludag National Park. The whole mountain is beautiful and even in summer is thick with lush green vegetation. It is also much cooler than the valley below. In June, there was still snow even far below the peak and there is some great hiking through the lush, wet forests. In winter, this is one of Turkey's premier ski resorts. The lower slopes have houses and farms in the lush countryside and some nice restaurants with et mangal (grilled meat) and outdoor seating with nice views. One can get a great view of the city of Bursa below, as well.
