Following the road to Tepekoy there is a crossroads that one road leads to the village and the other in Pinabarsi. Once used as a small military camp today the place is pretty much abandoned but has great view and if it is a good day you can see the island of Samothraki

One of the natural beauties of the island is marmaros waterfall. if you want to visit the waterfall just follow the road from Derekoy to Ugurlu or just after the church of Agia Marina there is a street sign on your right that is showing the way to marmaros I have to warn that the distance is about 7 km and the road is in bad condition. After some trekking into the path you will reach the waterfall.

    GIZLI LIMAN

If you like to have sunbathýng on your own without crowd only a lovely breeze and sun, dont forget to visit this bay. You can go there by car ,like entire island, and you feel the silence of nature here.

Interesting shapes of the rocks and crystal clear water make you pleased.

The most importing thing is make sure that you have plenty o fdrinking water before you arrive there, because there is no cafe or market around this place. Under the strong sunlight it is not funny to have nothing to drink. i know by experience!
