Public transport and taxis are limited on the island so the best way to get around from one part of the island to another is by car if you like to rent a car from Canakkale or just receive it to any village

Recently changed the ferry, so now it only takes 75 minutes, not the previous 110.
Toilets are good on board. Small cafe serves teas and soft drinks, biscuits and nuts.
Web page doesn't work in English yet.
Times presently are
Kabatepe - Gokceada 11.00 and 19.00
Gokceada - Kabatepe 07.00 and 17.30
Prices HERE but basically 20Ytl for a car, that includes however many people you can fit in, 2Ytl for foot passengers.
To get a ticket, go to the ticket office with your car papers, if going by car, if by foot just say Yolcu ( Pronounced Yolju ).
Unsure as yet about the ferry to Canakkale, so watch this space.
