Make sure that you take a bottle of water, sunscreen, hat and a snack to eat while you are visiting the Gallipoli sites. There did not appear to be any places where you could buy any food or water. I am sure there were toilets along the way (probably at Chunuk Bair)but they were not obvious!
On the ferry between Eceabat and Canakkale you will be approached by people trying to sell you things, mainly perfumes. Don't be fooled by the bargain price, those are fakes. I know for sure, my dad bought two (ouch)
