  • Lamuko's Lokanta: Great Asian Food at Lamuko's

by donalddurma Updated Jul 16, 2009

Lamuko's Lokanta has the best Japanese and Korean food in Pamukkale, there was a wide range of food from Japan and Korea. On the first day I tried the fried rice with chicken, which was spicy and delicious. Lamuko's is next to the Pamukkale Bus Company office, so has a very good location.

Favorite Dish: All kinds of Japanese and Korean food are served, just ask for your favourite!

  • Kayas Restaurant and Bar: Great food in central Pamukkale

by BarryPotter Written Jul 10, 2009

Kayas Restaurant is located in the centre of Pamukkale village, and consists of outside garden tables set under leafy and shady trees. This created a calm atmosphere. The menu was mostly Turkish cuisine, but also Korean and Japanese food was available. The food was of good quality and arrived quickly. My beer went down quickly, too!

Favorite Dish: I had the Mixed Grill, it consisted chicken, lamb, meatballs, more chicken, rice, green peppers, chips... it came on a Turkish-style metal barbecue plate and was sizzling!

    GURSOY RESTAURANT: NOT MANY HERE

    by whitecliff62 Updated Jan 7, 2006

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Most of the restaurants have closed in recent years due to the demolishment of the hotels that have taken the water from the calcium pools but a few still remain. The Gursoy is a nice little restaurant that cooks local dishes and is nice and shady to keep you from the hot Turkish sun.

    Unal Restaurant: no choice?

by backpackerbaby Written Jan 24, 2004

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

In winter time, not all restaurants operate in Pamukkale.

Unal was well-decorated, looked much better than most other restaurants nearby. Since this was our first real dinner in Turkey, we decided to treat ourselves better and we went in Unal.

It's a family run restaurant, with all the family members inside, watching TV.... the restaurant owner was quite friendly to us, trying to translate what's showing on TV all the time.

    A set-menu included:
    - tomato soup
    - mixed salad
    - stuffed aubergine
    - apple tea

I forgot the exact amount we paid but I remembered it's not expensive.

Favorite Dish: The food was quite delicious and I like the soup the most!!! YummY~
