Favorite thing: Edirne is rich in wooden houses, mostly survived from 19th century. Their style is called as Ottoman as well.
Some of them you could find walking along Saraclar street, other you could find separate in different streets.
The one mansion in first photo is called “Hafizaga konagi” near Selimiye mosque.

Favorite thing: Edirne, despite its small size of central part, amazed me by number of mosques and bridges through Tunca and Meric rivers. Bridges by style look more or less the same, but were constructed through long period - 15th till 19th centuries. Some of them available just for cars (attention!), some for a walk as well.
Smaller or bigger mosques are located at central place, Selimiye being as highest and most significant one.
