    Natural pillar in querry

On the way to Han al Barur, you may see before reaching the place some "cut" in the "rocky" hills around.
These are old (or still in use) querries.
Some of them have been strangely transformed by the work of locals.

Once in Han al Barur, few kids came to us.
    Polite and friendly !
What a change compare with Harran !

wing of the han, shooted form inside

This is an old caravanserail or han.
The location is approx 30 km east of Harran.
It is not in a too bad shape but need restoration.
Of course, it is in the middle of nowhere but a small village is nearby.
