  • Mini buses

There are mini buses around that take you to local places....all you do is ask the driver is he going to a certain place and he will say yes or no. The buses are small and not airconditioned....but that is ok because distances are generally not long...also, you can get a taxi, but many taxis are not airconditioned either......

Dont change your Pounds in the U.K. for Turkish Lira,we did it the wrong way.
we looked online for the cheapest rates at the time was 2.20Tl to the £,when we got to Olu Deniz it was 2.35Tl to the £ in the high Street.
Most things are priced in pounds in the shops, seems strange but they want the £ rather than the TL.

Unique Suggestions: Best to take about 50TL then change the rest there.
Hotel rates were not as good same as UK 2.20TL to £.

Fun Alternatives: If you really don't fancy taking pounds at least shop around,we found Post Office online one of the best rates.
