They recommended this restaurant at the hotel reception. The owners of the hotel are building a satellite-city 12km. away from the city center. In that construction area, a nice restaurant is already started functioning. We tried local food samples there. All of them were delicious. Name of the some of the food we tried are: Semirsek, zahter, asur, oruk....
I was really surprised when i read the sign of this small shop at Hatay. It says "meshur(famous) Hummuscu, Baklaci ve Yogurtcu" Those 3 foods mentioned here are not considered as a meal by me, we eat them only as side-dishes. However, in this shop they only serve those food and people eat them to eat their fill....When i entered in and tried the food, i understood why people eat them as main dish. They were so delicious. The small shop is a family business which is serving in Hatay for almost 110 years sait the shop owner. I strongly recommend to eat there and taste local food.... Bakla
I know they have very good main courses. We just ordered mezes, soups and deser, they were all delicious. Lebri soup, Hrisi, Kekik salat, Muammara, Babaganus, Oruk , Humus and Künefe...
