Güksü Pastanesi is just by the river and is also a nice place to sit at. From here you see the old stone bridge close by and you will here the sound of running water below.
A dondurma (ice-cream) and nescafe was 2 500 000 TL.

Just below the fortress on the hill there is a restaurant with a great view over Silifke.
After a long walk up (I had not taken the shortest way) it was a nice place to sit down at, have something to drink and admire the view and see different landmarks in the town from above.
A seven-up is 1 500 000 TL.

When I passed the otogar on my way to the museum I bought a simit (breadring covered with sesame seed) and ayran (a yogurt drink) for breakfast. It is cheap, only 750 000 TL.
Later, at lunchtime, when I was waiting for the bus to Anamur, I bought another simit and ayran. They are both really good and easy to take away.
