Anadolukavagi is located something like 30 kilometers from Istanbul i think and the best way to get there is by a ferry.
For tourist they have ferries in 20-30 USD but if you want to feel like a local use the local ferry for 7.5 YTL for both sides.
You can find ferries in many places : Eminonu , Beciktas and more.
This will take you 1.5 hours to get there.
The Bosphoros ferry runs several times daily from the ferry terminal #3 in Eminonu. The boat criss crosses its way up the Bosphoros, stopping at a few villages along the way, terminating in Anadolu Kavagi. It takes about 1.5hrs each way.
Alternatively, a bus runs here and back from Uskudar, on the Asian side.
You can reach Anadolu Kavagi by ferry from Istanbul. There are normally 2 boats, leaving Istanbul at 10:30 and 13:00, and they take 2 hours. Price: 4 $
The boats stop 3 hours in the village and then return.
The best way to explore this place is by walking around.
The narrow streets and the beautiful landscape will make you enjoy your walk here.
