All around Istanbul you can find those sport halls and I give you

You can go those places and give very less money and swim.Most of them have olympic standart or half olympic (25m) swimming pool.Where willl you stay in Istanbul.I can give you closer swimming pool address.

Every year, in Autumn Euroasian Marathon is organized in Istanbul. This is the only marathon in the world that you run from one continent to another in a few hours. There are three different runs of that marathon:
1) The marathon of 42.2 km: It is for professionals and the pri,ce is 30.000 USD for the first comer
2) The marathon of 15 km: The prize is 1500 USD
The total amount of the prizes is 100.000 USD
Besides those two different runs, there is also the Popular Marathon of 8 km. and the prize is a medal and a t-shirt to everybody who finish the marathon. And every year about 100.000 people attends to that marathon as the joy to pass over the bridge which connects the two continents is a wonderful feeling.

Planet is a full service health club and spa that is on a magnificent location on the shores of the Bosphorus in Kurucesme. It was recommended to me by a friend who used to live in Istanbul. It is one of the premier health clubs in Istanbul and has been operating for about 10 years now. A well known yoga teacher from England visits and teaches regularly. I happened to take a class with him and got limbered up pretty fast. I also took Pilates with the experienced instructor. Tai-chi is also offered along with many other classes. The women's locker room has ample room. Sauna and steam room is also available. If you are not a member, you can still work out. The day fee is US$25. Pilates semi-private class (2 people) and special yoga class is $20/session.
Ask Cafe just in front of Planet right on the Bosphorus' shore is open in summer months. It's popular brunch destination for both locals and visitors in the know. A well-stocked Macro supermarket is conveniently located on the main street behind the gym if you need to buy groceries on your way out. There's also a newsagent in front of Macro.
It has huge floor of exercise equipment, professional trainers with proper credentials, a Pilates studio with equipment (reformer, cadillac, chair and Allegros) plus a studio for yoga and other classes, a kuafor (beauty salon) and spa that offer Balinese massage among others in its extensive menu. It also has an in-house cafe that serve healthy lunches of salads and sandwiches as well as some authentic Turkish fare. Staff is very friendly and some speak English quite well. It is about 1.5 kms from Ortakoy. I walked to it when I stayed in Ortakoy in the spring of 2005. I worked out there this summer too with a wonderful trainer, Orkun. I met a famous singer who apparently works out there, Mustafa Sandal. He plays a mean game of table tennis. There are only three teams that matter. Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Galatasaray.
I have to admit to having developed allegiance to Besiktas (pronounced bay-she-TASH). The colors are black, white and red, just like my beloved DC United. The stadium is in woods overlooking the Bosphorus, likely the most beautiful setting for an arena I can imagine. And finally, they are the third among three for national popularity.
