    Oxiven cafe: Oxiven cafe

The restaurant is located on the main street walking from main bus station to seashore. Actually as most of Sile restaurants, it provided a view into Black sea.

We ordered chicken shish, Turkish halva and apple tea. Food was nice, but I was disappointed that in chicken shish I found some dirty salads, also apple tea was “international” – Lipton. About sandy salad leaf they told “ok” and took it away with fingers.

The price for all of meals and tea was about 17 liras (about 7,60 euros).

Shiraz: Excellent Restaurant with good view

We were walking in Sile when we came across this restaurant. A posh place with a an excellent view of the black sea as it is located on the cliff. The food was a bit expensive but, excellent. Continental food. I would highly recommend everyone visiting Sile to definitely visit this place. Everyone knows where it is so just ask around.

Favorite Dish: Dont remember any. We dined there twice and both times we were really satisfied.

  • Several small Café's with bakery in main street: Fresh food at bakery incl view over Black Sea

Fresh warm bakery food, tea and great view !!!

We was a bit hungry and thirsty while we were shopping in the main road. My friend went into a tiny bakery, walked past all the fresh cakes and breads into another room where there was some tabels and chairs and further out to the big balcony with more tabels and chairs.
I was not prepared for what I saw; we were high up with a great view over the harbour, coast and Black Sea.
The photo is of the first one we went into, but due to the wind it was hopeless to sit outside. Next doors bakerys balcony was smaller but with walls stopping the cold wind.

Favorite Dish: For our lunch we had fresh simit (small 'rolls' made like a ring, with lots of sesamy seeds) and çay (tea).
Turkish coffe to end our lunch.

Liman and Others: Basic but fresh and delicious.

Liman Restaurant is decent place in the centre near the Goksu River. The view of the restaurant is very nice. Try to be there during the day light, you will enjoy it more. You can find fresh fish and especially the local owen's bread is delicious. Credit card (Visa) is accepted.

Except Liman Restaurant, there are also other small restaurants, but the truth is every hotel has its own restaurant with delicious food. Without leaving your hotel, you can have a good dinner with good wine.

Favorite Dish: Fried squid and the fish of the season. The sauce they prepare in Liman for the fried squid is really delicious. If you go to Liman try it.
