As above the name means cracked door market.
Nice and shady if the sun is getting too hot.
What to buy: Lots of arts and crafts as well as other non essential stuff, great for giving as souvenirs.
What to pay: Haggle and enjoy it.

Tucked away from the main town it's easy to miss if you're not looking.
My wife loves it.
What to buy: Linen table cloths and the like but also coton nightdresses and stuff.
What to pay: Pretty pricey by Turkish prices but worth it.

I loved Alacati. It's a shame that it was my first time there. Primary surfing place in Turkey. You won't regret it.
