'Pasam'is definatly a restaurant worth visiting...it serves the best 'osmanish' in Maras! It is situated on the top of a hill so the view at night through the large glass windows is breathtaking with all the glittering lights. This is one of the more expensive ones around, but only in comarison to others. Failing that, most of the little 'kebapci's that are scattered around ara cheap and nice tasting. One thing you must try is 'Adana kebap' which is the speciality of the south, either served in a doner or straight on the metal spears...'cok guzel' as they say in Turkish!
As with the 'Pasam' restaurant, go for the view if nothing else! I'ts situated right next to a mosque too, so all you culture lovers would love to be gazing over the hill side at night with the beautiful sounds of the mosque calling...amazing.
As i earlier said, Osmanish, which is a type of stew with meat and veg, served over flame in stone dishes (watch your hands!). Very tasty.
And Anyone who goes to Gaziantep or Kahramanmaras must try Adana kebap. Leave a Comment
