Shopping Mall and Various Shops: Central Karabuk
Central Karabuk itself, the provincial capital, offers quite a bit of day-to-day shopping. This includes a multi-story shopping mall in the heart of the city plus many other businesses on the streets around it. This is the primary shoppinig area of the region, aside from some shopping in more touristy Safranbolu. This area offers plenty normal, daily shopping, and not tourist-related shopping or other facilities since, unlike Safranbolu, Karabuk is in no way a tourist town. It's pleasant enough, but it's just a normal working city whose business is dominated by the huge steel mill and, more recently, by a growing new university. Normal, everyday things: clothes, groceries, electronics, etc.
