Kocek dance from a small village of Kastamonu

Kastamonu is a small and one of the fascinating cities of Turkey, located at the black sea region. It is quite far away from the main touristical cities of Turkey I would say.Every city of Turkey is really so famous about one of its biggest attitude. Kastamonu's main difference from other cities of Turkey is the traditional gentleman dancers so called '' KOCEK'' in Turkish. These guys are wearing cultural uniforms as it is shown in the picture and act in a most fantastic, traditional way during their dance together with their partners.'' KOCEKS'' are not so popular during the last years and dont dance during the whole year, they only dance during the special days and festivals in the small towns of Kastamonu.
