Konya is located in the Central Anatolia Region. It is the largest province by area of Turkey.
We came to Konya Province by bus on our ring-way around Turkey from Aksaray Province while going to Afyon Province. We made only two stops: in the provincial capital - the city of Konya and in Caravansary.
The distance between Aksaray and Konya is 155 km along the D300 National road from east to west. It took us about two hours driving. Caravansary is located at the 1/3 distance from Aksaray and 2/3 distance from Konya.
On our way from Konya we made a stop for a lunch somewhere near Akshehir Lake (I don’t know the exact name of this place) in Afyon Province after about 150 km driving along the D300 National road from east to north-west.

Konya has a large tram system and you can get around by tram wth the best and cheepest way.trams working between the city center to Univercity and another line is near to complate to Meram district.
