The Bodrum Fener Restaurant is located in Bodrum Milta Yacht Club. Me and my family went there in summer 2011. Its view was good. But it had an awful service. The waitresses didn't interested in us. We had to wait for 30 minutes just for a waitress come near us but at last we left the restaurant. No one apologized from us for being waited. I will definitely never go to that place. The waitresses were so rude and irrelevant.

there are lots of retaurants in bodrum, i like dining at those ones juz in front of the marina few meters from the entrance of the castle, especially the one near or midway between the castle and the big souvenir shop fronting the ocean.
i really forgot the name of the others or i didn't mind at all, but i captured the name of one in the pic - called EREN resto & cafe. their grilled - or maybe they steam it and grill - seabass is truly delicious, so tasty kinda butter-y after taste. in fact most of their fish in the menu are yummy.
Favorite Dish: grilled seabass

Don hesitate to be adventurous, rent a car and explore dining options in on of small fishing villages/ towns just outside Bodrum. One of the towns, I recommend, is Yalikavak (about 30 mins driving time)
As you approach Yalikavak, over the spine of the hill, where you find a row of windmills, there is a breathtaking view of the whole area including the bays of Tilkicik, Pasa and Agacbasi - and the lower deep green bay of Yalikavak itself. The name Yalikavak means poplars by the sea but the abundance of trees are actually not poplars, but plane trees. However, the do attest to the fact Yalikavak does have a very good supply of fresh water, hence the greeness.
The Deniz Restaurant is right on the water, fresh seafood, fresh air, fantastic view, adventurous spirit... what else can you wish? ..
Favorite Dish: you will see ...

We found Ortakent Yahsi, Bodrum by our waiter in our hotel is said it was the best place on the peninsula and true to his word it was. Ortakent Yahsi next to Camel beach is a lovely quiet resort unspoil like other part of the bodrum peninsula. We visited there during the day and swam and relaxed we found a fabulous restaurant called Viras. Clean, friendly staff and fabulous food.
In the evenings it turns into a warm, atmospheric lovely dining experience. A nice place to dine with fine wines, great cuisine and relaxing music. This is a place for everybody.
Favorite Dish: My wife liked the Grilled Filleted Seabass prepared freshly and cooked on a charcoal grill and I fell in love with the Fillet of Beef with stilton sauce. The steak was so tender definitely the best i have ever had. We liked it so much that we visited this restaurant a few times during our holiday and we also highly recommend the Cokertme Kebab for a true Turkish experience. If you holiday anywhere on the Bodrum Peninsula this is one place you mustn't miss out on. Trust your insticts and go and visit this remarkeable place.

We chose this restaurant because while I was looking in the window at the refrigerated fish the manager came out and told me the names of the varieties of fish served. He did not pressure us to come in unlike most but we did anyway and reserved a table. The service was superb and very high standard. The restaurant was clean and the waiters very polite. The food was brilliantly served at our table and was delicious. They had a sense of humour and when we were a bit late for our reservation due to having been on a trip, they jokingly threayened to charge us 5 euros for being late. The views from the deck over the water were superb, a great place to watch the boats and the sunset.
Favorite Dish: Seabass - very fresh and chosen by us. The mezze offered first were also very fresh, hygenically packed and there was an interesting variety.

Gusta Restaurant
Situated next to the Beach Restaurant, this restaurant serves excellent food with chefs that have worked at five star hotels in Istanbul. Gusta serves a wide range of food that will delight your taste buds although it has a price to match but well worth the extra money. This site has more details; gumusluk http://gumusluk.info
Favorite Dish: All the food is good here! Loved it

This was a Lovely little restaurant overlooking the castle of St Peter, the only prob is i just can't remember the damn name of it, i know it was on the left about 50 yards past Mc donalds which was on the right, they had a huge display of fresh fish outside the restaurant, and you had to go through an impressive hall which led out outside to a decking area which had great views of the sea and the castle, i hope you can find it ? oh if you look for a giant plastic fish which is outside the restaurant then this is the place
Favorite Dish: I have found in Turkey especially the tourist towns and citys that its getting harder and harder to find a restaurant that sells traditional Turkish mezes (cold mixed plates) thats why i was happy when we found this restaurant, they came round the table with a lovely display of mezes to which you picked out the ones you would like to try, this was delicious. I also had sea bream which was perfectly cooked. I will add one moan though, why oh why do the Turkish think that everything has to be served with chips or rice hehehehehehehe, whats up with fresh veg, you can't seem to get it anywhere
