Each October, in what is traditionally the last week of the tourist season, Bodrum holds its annual yacht regatta. Any nationality can enter their boat and the town becomes quite busy in this week. Nightlife is supposed to be quite good as the yacht crews finish their days work. I love boats but know very little about the sport so this tip is really a referral for boat lovers to the official site: www.bodrumcup.com

Scuba Diving - well what can I say - I'm a PADI Divemaster and therefore love to dive, I would recommend diving to anyone who is fit enough to do it, but just not here. I have to say it was not worth the effort - i could count on one hand the things I encountered during both dives the day I went. I cannot comment on other dive sites but should anyone suggest diving here - DON'T SIGN UP - trust me.

As recommended by a friend and diver, I booked a diving day with Morning Tour and the day was great. I am not a certified diver and went with an instructor. there were a few certified divers and even some non-divers on our boat that day. We did 2 dives and the certified divers did an additional dive. They also offered snorkel gear for all as well as Lunch and hotel pick-up drop off. They go out rain or shine.. our day started with rain and ended with sunshine :)
they dive was 75 TYL per person and I believe 15 TYL for a non-diver.
Morning Tour can also book other local tours for Boat trips, Turkish Bath, Ferry to Kos, Village Tours... even airport transfers...
Equipment: All the scuba gear was included and the wet suit did not smell... yeah!
