By water: To Bodrum from Datca
  • Tip Rating:
  • There is a ferry from Körmen (near Datca) to Bodrum at 9 am. You can buy the ticket from the ferry office in Datcha and they have a service bus, which will take you to the ferry, and it leaves Datca about 8.30. The price was in July 2004 15 000 000 TL (ferry and service bus) and the boattrip to Bodrum harbour took about two hours. On the ferry you can buy tea, coffee and soft drinks. A tea is 1 500 000 TL.

By water: THIS WAY TO THE GREEK ISLANDS
  • Tip Rating:
  • This is the ferry port at Bodrum where they have frequent ferry and hydafoil crossings to the Greek island of Kos. This port is a border area so you will have to show your boarding passes and passports at the port and on entry to Greece, as well as back again. Duty free restrictions do apply on this service so you will be restricted on what you can bring in or out of Greece or Turkey

    By water: Fairy ferry boats
  • Tip Rating:
  • For those wishing to arrive by ferry, with or without car, there are various routes to choose from. Ferryboats leave from both Venice and Brindisi (Italy) to Izmir. There are also ferryboats from Athens to Kos (Greece) From Kos it is simple to take another ferryboat to Bodrum. In winter ferries run three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The ferryboat leaves Bodrum at 09:00 and returns from Kos at 16:30. The price for a return ticket is about 18$ USA. The Bodrum-Kos trip takes about 2 hours.
