Favorite thing: There are three types of police in Turkey, first there are the jandarma who are the military police, then there is the traffic police who deal with any kind of road traffic offenses and the police who are in the tourist resorts who deal with the likes of me hahahahahahahaha.

Favorite thing: The turkish currency is the Lira, and its very confusing and hard to master with all those bloody noughts on the end of there notes hahahahaha, still this is how it goes The coins are 25,000---- 50,000 ---- 100,000 ---- 250,000 and the notes are 250,000 ---- 500,000 ---- 1,000,000 ---- 5,000,000 ----10,000,000 ---- and 20,00,000 T.L.
One of the best ways of trying to get round this confusing money is to keep yor notes in order of value

Favorite thing: The town of Dalyan is situated near the river, some 22km from the resort of Marmaris - many tour boats come from here. It became a well established fishing village, life was simple here. Today on the wharf, which is in front of the mosque, there are a lot of excursion boats belonging to the fishing fraternity and tours can be made daily into the delta for the thermal spring mud baths, Caunos and of course the beach. Have a drink at one of the many pleasant waterside cafes first.

Favorite thing: Rember the film classic African Queen - well this is it. Arriving at turtle beach through the reeds will conjure up images of this film. Its a really delightful way to reach the beach.
The Dalyan canal, formely known as Calbis, is a naturel water channel, connecting the Köycegiz lake with the mediterranean. Boats longer than 12m are not permitted and speed restrictions are in force to preserve this natural beauty.

Favorite thing: The Dalyan area, with its mountainous Mediterranean coastline, a peaceful river delta and the ancient city of Kaunos, is widely recognised as one of most beautiful areas in Turkey and I certainly think it is too.

Favorite thing: After the caunos ruins, your boat will take you to the wonderful Dalyan delta..
You will pass from a door by your boat.. This door is to protect fishes passing over.. And now you are in the Delta.. While sailing you dont see much.. You only see those grasses on water and other boats.. As seen on picture..
