A LOCAL GULET

Although i have yet to do a Gulet cruise people tell me its the most relaxing holiday you could ever want. You can rent these local boats for one or even two weeks and sail around the beautiful bays of Turkey with an experienced crew who do everything for you, and the tan you get is incredible. There is a very useful fact sheet you can get all about Gulet cruising from Thomas cook and its free, contact the admin department on the number listed below

FISHERMANS FREIND

Part of the river Caunos in Dalyan has been turned in to a fish breeding center with the farming of seabass, which you will find in lots of the restaurants in Dalyan and Marmaris. I don't think this fisherman has had a very good catch, he looks really pissed off hahahahaha.

In every town, city, and village in Turkey you will find one of these, and alone the banks of the Caunos river in Dalyan is no exeption.
