Icmeler Nightlife

The Pleasure opens at about 10-30pm and closes its doors at 4-00am.
This is one of two nightclubs in Icmeler the other one being Eastenders.
Towards the end of this season the Pleasure was taken over by Umit,a great chap who used to work at the Dreamboys.
It plays typical nightclub sounds and after midnight a lot of the waiters from other bars frequent this place.

It's a drag act. He's from Blackpool. That's it really.

Michael is 6 foot 3 and a quick change artist, dressing as Alanis Morisette, Lady Gaga, Diana Ross, and other divas that I was not so familiar with. He/she is not a bad stand up comic either, and I wanted more of that and less of the miming.

Good fun. More expensive than others, but not criminally so. There is a cover charge of TL15 per adult, which includes the first drink. The drinks menu is slightly more expensive than the rest of town, but not painfully so. Fair pricing really.

Most of the bars/restaurants in Icmeler have a show, and, truth to tell, the same show goes around many venues, even on the same night! Here though, they seem to have more fun than some. The kids just love it.

The Blue Rainbow bar is situated right next to the Blue Rainbow Hotel in Icmeler. Its a fun pub with deals on cocktails and 10% off for Blue Raindbow Hotel guests. This bar made my holiday what it was. The waiters are crazy fun and I have never laughed so much in my whole life!! Not only are they a great laugh they are incredibly friendly and are always interacting with the customers. If you go to Icmeler, make sure you check out this bar before you go! The entertainment they put on is the same as every other bar in Icmeler but this bar has the best waiters by far!! I cant stress how much fun I had with them all. Will defo be going back next year to see them all again!!

When in Icmeler do try and see the Stella Show this show may not be suitable for children due to the strong language..
This show is a drag show consisting of song,dance, mime and slapstick.
Starting at 10pm and going through till 1am with just a short break.
Drinks are a little more expensive than other bars but during the evening special promotions are announced when selected drinks are half price.

The show starts with Stella backed by the superb dancing "Harmony Boys" doing an intro number,followed by quick fire changes into stunning outfits and wigs,this artist has a figure a lot of women would envy.
Going through a range of slapstick and comedy,with audience participation,but is not of an intrusive nature and with variouse sexual inuendoes.
The sketch of Dorothy and Toto was hilarious as is also her charactertures of Dolly Parton,Marolyn Monroe,Tina Turner, Shirley Bassey, Cher and a suberb sketch from Chicago to name but a few.
A poignant ending to the show brought the house to its feet for a standing ovation,a fitting tribute to an exceptional talent who had just entertained us for three hours.

As of the 2010 season there is an entrance charge of 15 lira per person,this along with the higher price for your drinks makes for an expensive night out.

Serving inexpensive food and drinks this has got to be one of the cheapest places in Icmeler.
Run by Sugar and his wife Nestle they have Karaoke every evening,free pool table and TV also internet access.

The Korsan is a very good fun bar putting on shows every night,ie:- Grease,Michael Jackson,Tina Turner,Shirley Bassey,another featured show is by "Scorpion", this is a very special martial arts show.
They also have Turkish folk dancing and Turkish belly dancing performed by either a female or male dancer.
All the dance hits are played here,Cha Cha slide, Kiss Kiss etc the emphasise being on fun and enjoyment.
Inexpensive snacks are avaliable throughout the day and you can also use the huge pool and sunbathing areas at the side of the Korsan free of charge.
Evening meals are not cooked at the Korsan but are brought from the Kontes Restaurent just over the canal and first class food it is.

The lively restaurant by day or night is the Deniz Kapisi which is a fun pub and dance bar with Karaoke each night. You will not have a quiet evening but lots of fun and laughs. Each night something is going on apart from the Karaoike. Acts like, Shirley Bassey, Michael Jackson etc appear which is hilarious.The food is really good with such a variety. Weekends and in the busy part of the summer you would have to book a table. We could choose our table or just turn up in May. They all make you so welcom and all recognised us from last year.During the day, you get free sun beds, brolly etc with waiter service at no extra charge. We spent most of our holiday there. The waiters also do some Turkish Folk Dancing too.

Dress Code: As casual as you wish, with comfortable shoes, as you may be dancing on the tables by end of the evening
