Beach, Marmaris

Just wanted to make a note that in Turkey all those beaches where I have been have been well maintained, clean, tidy and comfortable, cosy. No active "sales persons" for some reason. Perhaps they are not let to enter the beaches by the people who "own" each part of the beach (at least rent the sunbeds).

I enjoyed the beach in Marmaris very much. The only person "selling" anything there, as far as I remember, was a man offering back and neck massage (made at the sunbed) at a low price (but good work). That was nice and handy.

The scenery from the beaches (and elsewhere too) in Turkey is very beautiful. Sea, green, mountains. Marmaris was my favourite beach holiday resort in Turkey.

Marmaris is very famous village specially for Britts and where britts are Party is there....
It is a day event that takes place on one of the secluded beaches around Marmaris.
You will sail to the beach around 10:00 am and arrive in about an hour. Since you will become part of the fun, during this trip you will get to meet and chat with all the people that joins this fun excursion. Crew members are fun and will create the atmosphere for a friendly day. And YES! You can start to drink and get the booze onboard.
When you arrive to the beach, the scene will be ready waiting for you to enjoy. A huge icebox full of soft drinks, beers, wine and fruits. There will also be a cocktail bar where you can sit at the bar and enjoy the music played by some of the best DJs in Marmaris. Chat along, sing along, play along, dance along….. Swim, drink, sleep, meet, dance….. Smile, Romance, make love not fight, seize the day…..
For water sports enthusiasts… There will be water-skiing, jet skiing, banana, ringos, speed boats, skin diving, paragliding available all day.
While you do all this, Vagabundo crew and staff will be grilling for you some fish, meat, chicken. If you want go join them and cook for yourself and others. Be part of the team all day. This is your team. A long serving table will be set on the beach and at lunch time you will be served salads, fruits, grilled meat, fish and chicken marinated… Eat as much as you can. This is a feast!!! You will return to back to Marmaris around 18:00 still having fun on the boat on the way back.

I marmaris each section of beach is mantained and cleaned for by the hotels that back on th the beaches so each hotel had there own section for there holiday makers, you don't have to pay for the beach shades but you do have to pay for the matrasses which are well worth the little money they charge

Marmaris beach is not very wide and is covered with sun beds and umbrellas which can be rented for a usual fee of USD 1-.

It may not be the perfect beach, but the sea water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming.

According to the legend Anthony brought to his Cleopatra the sand from Africa to please his beloved. And now you can't find this sand only on the Cleo's beach or in Africa.

God...I wish men could be like that.... O:-)

We really enjoyed following this path through town and then at least a few miles down to the boat to Rhodes.. .
