Want a nice outdoor Restaurant but can't find one, thats because they all seem to be located in the one area. If you continue walking the Esplanade, make sure you go around the corner where the Castle is located. Around here, is the Netsel Marina, and this is where Restaurant after Restaurant is located, all with waterfront views. Nice! Its also where you will find some more shops to browse around.

This is definitely a thing to do in Marmaris.

With small shops, lots of restaurants and bars, the bazaar, Marmaris is a vibrating summer resort.

The harbor is the best place where you can relax and admire the spectacular view.

The traffic-free promenade is stretching from the marina all the way round the bay to Icmeler.

Walk along the promenade. It’s really relaxing there, especially for people watching, boat watching, stop for a coffee, do shopping, visit the Marina, go up to the castle. There aren’t many activities in Marmaris than enjoy the sun during the summer and although I had my cloudy days it was always nice to walk along the promenade as many others did the same time.

If you walk to the far end of the marina, past all the fantastic restaurants you will find this is where some of the rich mans toys are. These private yachts wher huge in size and almost like floting hotels (oh to be rich)

This is the start of the marina area of Marmaris, and all the wondeful local gulets, sailing boats, yachts, and luxury liners and what a sight they are at night, all lit up in there splendure.

Stroll along the Marina and admire some real impressive yachts. The Marina of Marmaris is one of the biggest in Turkey and that's the reason many people from Turkey and abroad park their yachts here. As I said it is a major center for sailing, possessing two major and several smaller marinas.

You will also find some nice spots for photographs around that area, one over a small bridge, next to the yachts etc
