Orhaniye is on the national park, the Bozburun Peninsula, so is surrounded by beautiful countryside and isolated bay, yet only 25Km from bustling Marmaris. Here are some photos to temp you to Orhaniye.
Keçibükü is part of Orhaniye and its location is well understood by the locals but a complete lack of road and area signs makes it a bit tricky for outsiders to identify and locate. As you sit quietly and listen to the hum of the bees with a warm breeze blowing up the valley, it's easy to step back into a way of life largely unchanged for generations. Locals working the fertile crops and logging trucks slowly rumbling down from the hills along perilous trails cut into the valley are the main sources of activity here.
These pictures show the local flora and fauna that can be explored in and around orhaniye. The wild flowers in spring are wonderful to see and all the local produce is organic and brought freshly to your table if you go to any of the local restaurants in the village.
