Knidos Archeological Site

by SurfaceTravel

At the extreme west end of Resadiye Peninsula is the ancient port city of Knidos (400 BC - AD 700). It's worth the drive out there for the views of the Aegean alone, as well as the views there and back. We were the only people there when we were there that April. You could easily spend a couple of hours wandering around the ancient city.See my travelogue for photos and a detailed history of Knidos.
