Sherife is a local family lady who lives in Turunc. She has always supplied bread for the village market on Mondays but in the last two years has branched out. She has a oven which she makes Gozleme (pancakes) but now Sherife makes hot evening meals. Her chicken casserole and Chicken Special (a little spicy) is wonderful, as is tasty.
This is simple and delicious food at its local best. Sherife has a beautiful smile and always like to chat and improve her English. this year (2013) the restuarant and menu has been improved and she has more business than ever before which tells you how good it is.

Favorite Dish: Every dish is great. Sherife copes in the small kitchen by specialising in a main meal each day. If you really want something else you can ask, but give her a day in advance.
The meals are 10-12 TYL and simple wonderful. No frills but good home cooking, and a friend you will soon make.

Ali now owns and runs the Korfez and has a high level of service we have all enjoyed. Bulent and collegues do a great job and the food is the best. Plenty of fresh sea food (sea Bass recommended) on the menu and excellent coffee.
Wine chioices in Turkey always disappoint me as it seems the Turkish government doesn't encourage imports form decent wine growing countries (I may be wrong here but never see the range of wines we have in the UK). Wine at the table is about £10 and a meal can be from as little as £4 to an avaerage of £8 for a main course.
Of course you always get the fresh bloated bread for starters, which is a normal for Turkish restuarants.
Always a smile from the waiters who really make you feel welcome.
The Korfez also has cheap sea front accommodation above if you need it. Fully A/C I beleive.

This is a restaurent on the promenade faceing the sea and serving succulent steaks and fresh fish.
Tables and chairs are lined up along the promenade were you can have a drink or meal while watching the taxi boats and daytrippers on the bigger boats pulling up at the quay side.
Favorite Dish: All meals served here are of the highest quality this and its perfect setting makes it the ideal place for an evening meal.

Serving Lunches and Evening meals and putting on dance shows after 10pm.
Sit in the peace and quiet after midnight gazeing out to sea at the dark sky bejewelled with stars.
During the day make use of the sunbeds in front of the bar (small charge payable to the local council).
Waiter service is avaliable to serve you with food and drink to your sunbed.
The sea here is a little pebbly and shelves quickly but is a delight to bathe in.

The fillet steak at this Restaurant is fantastic, it is about 1.25" thick and about 5 " in diameter and very succulent, I highly recommend this eatery with it's very pleasant position near to the River mouth.
You must go to this restaurant. It is along the front, at the smallest part of the beach with only two rows of sunbeds. They provide a service on the beach where from your sunlounger you can order drinks and food, and get it served to you on your beach. They also offer to pay for your loungers as long as you have a drink from their restaurant. They offer a wide range of excellent foods from snacks, breakfasts, local cuisines and evening meals, all of a high standard.
The staff, are very welcoming and will bend over backwards to meet your satisfaction. They treat every individual customer as a friend, and is the perfect place to eat, with beautifulo views over the magnificant bay!

Favorite Dish: The restaurant offers many good dishes including there burgers and salads, which are great tasting, cheap and filling. But also there fillet steak, a lot cheaper than normal steaks, and yet twice as good. It is tender, filling and comes with a lot of potatoe and vegetables.
