Apparently the Flintstone's Cave Bar is one of the most popular place for a drink and to get social in Goreme. When I stepped in, it was not. This was because I did not visit Cappadocia during the height of tourist season. Just the same the bar was very interesting largely because of the it's setting within a cave and for its fun decore.

I don't know who he was but what I can tell you that he is maybe one of the worst singers I've ever seen. We sang over an elvis presley song, singing in playback and with the worst sound I've ever heard!! I promise, horrible!!!

I love turkish music and dancing, so combine this with excellent food, jumping over a bonfire and as much as you can drink and I and the whole group were sold on the turkish night out just down the road from Goreme. What a great opportunity to join in and dance on the table!!

Located on the edge of town, Flintstones Cave Bar is the most popular watering hole. They play great music - mixture of classic drinking songs and new stuff.
The crew behind the bar were pretty damn spunky as well - which also helps.
Dress Code: i was there in april, it was pretty cold then, so wear lots of layers.

Very similar to Fatboys in that it has a free pool table and will also play loud music in the evening. There is a big screen here that plays movies in the afternoon. Happy hour is between 2100-2300.

In Winter most of the nightlife spots in Goreme are closed.
We ended up in a pub called Fatboy. We sat with a few locals around a stove drinking our beers.
Had a really good time over there.
