No matter where you go in the Muslim world, you will have your "rugs day". In Turkey, we had it in Cappadocia, and it was our best "rugs day" in the world. In that ambiance the production was natural, and sellers were not so pushy as elsewhere. A calm and civilized contact with a popular activity that remains important in that society.
One fun way to visit Cappadocia is to look out for the strange rock formatins and determine their similarities with everydys' objects, people, animals. Believe me: you'll find plenty. My very favourite is this camel rock - although I don't remember exactly where it is located. Anyway while in Cappadocia... name those rocks!!! It's what the local people have been doing for centuries, anyway.
Although it is very hot outside, the underground is so cool in summer.ln winter it is opposite inside is hot and outside is cold.lt is very healty that's why old people live so long.They also use the square rocks as a door ,protect themselves against their enemies.
