I was really surprised to find a bar in Ankara which had a quality band playing very good music. Even more pleasant was that it was free with no cover and beer that was not priced above average. I actually began sitting in the patio of this bar to watch a football game when the music being played drew me in. The staff found me a place to sit at the bar. The band, with a charismatic lead vocalists, was highly watchable and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. A beer here will set you back about $2.00. Casual
one of the most popular hostels in istanbul, the orient hostel has 2 good bars in the hostelyou can go there without being a guest in the hostel too.it gets very busy with travellers there at night and for the same reason i won't really recomend staying there, because of the noise, but it's a great place to drop by for a few beers and fun company. this is a real backpacker hangout and anything goes.
This theatre “Aspendos” is open as a museum, but in the summer it is possible to watch operas and ballets there too. in my first visit in Turkey I had chance to watch ballet " Spartak " in this ancient amphitheater.
This place has some of the best parties in Turkey! There is an open fire blazing in the middle of this open air bar with elevated seating and an area around the fire to dance. Great mix of backpackers and local travellers. Drink up the Raki! No dress code but you'll probably not want to wear much, it is so HOT!
My favorite Nightlife - watch the sundown at the bridge between Europe and Asia.In Istanbul you will find plenty of night-clubs and discos.My best memory was Galata-tower in Istanbul, with great restaurants, a nightclub, a disco and a terrace for a great view over Istanbul Mostly formal dress is not required
Turkey is known for the exotic Belly Dancing. Belly Dancing usually comes with dinner and drinks. Sometimes the Belly Dancers invite visitors to try dancing - that's fun! Especially when some chubby Central Europeans try to do this :-D
I do not remember what was the tower for in Ankara, Probably a TV or Telephone one, as such a question could not be posed by a little boy who was only interested in toys, ha ha ha I remember my Parents bought great Turkish soldiers after my annoying asking to buy them, poor parents they were great, I was a little devil spoiled by the love of my Parents, but really exploited this quality in them LOL
