Before going to Turkey, visit your doctor and ask for a prescription for Ciprofloxacin, 500mg tablets. It is an excellent general antibiotic, useful for treating many ailments, including Montezuma's Revenge. For whatever reasons: change of diet, overeating, too much sun, poor hygiene, etc., fully half of the people on our bus were sick at some point during the trip. So.... be prepared!The reason I took a picture of this toilet is... it was the only CLEAN Asian style toilet I saw in our entire trip, and it actually had a roll of toilet paper beside it — how unusual!!! Oh, and don't forget to have change with you, because they charge you to use public toilets!Ladies, you may want to make sure you have your own stash of toilet paper in your purse, and some Handi-Wipes. Love those Turkish toilets.... Us guys do have an advantage at times! It is a lot cheaper to buy your film before going...
