  • Turkey is a vegetarians delight!! The vege food here is awesome. The kebabs are pretty good also.
Overall, I found the food in Turkey to be probably the best anywhere.

We were lucky to be in Turkey...
  • Tip Rating:
  • We were lucky to be in Turkey for the start of Ramadan, when they build street restaurants near the Blue Mosque that stay open all night. You can get spit grilled meats and many other foods at a good price in a festive atmosphere.

We really liked the bulgar wheat side dishes, lentil soups, and fresh turkish delight.

    The good thing about Kusadsi...
  • Tip Rating:
  • The good thing about Kusadsi is that the boistrous noisy pubs are all kept together in the one place. Leaving you in peace to enjoy your meal. A lot of the restaraunts invite you into the kitchen to help you decide what to eat. Bizarre at first but really helpful, when you are unsure just reading the menu, then you can normally decide immediatly when you see something nice.

  • Tip Rating:
  • Turkish food is unique and very tasteful.Restaurants are everywhere and most of them are good. Kebaq is must. Other tries include roast chichen wings, which is very tastful and stuffing, cakes with cheese in between. Cheese seem to be overwheelming in Turkey, as if it are Doufu in China. Actually the two kinds look really the same.

Whoops! can I remember all of them? No I can't there were so many places, and all of them were good.
We had to keep moving around because of who they thought I was, which can be a bit too much at times. However, we would suggest you visit Hisaronu
If you want endless amounts of restaurants, bars, shops and boat trips then Hisaronu is the place for you. I had expected the resort to be quite quiet as we travelled in September but I couldn't have been more wrong!Hisaronu is a really lively, friendly, clean resort! Its not lively as in-full of young, single, drunks, but there are loads of bars (and a few clubs)which give it a great night-life!The people were all really friendly.
Plenty of good restauants, we especially liked Santana (massive portions at really cheap prices. Dragonara Chinese 2.80 for a two course meal with rice or noodles or Dominoes, a bit pricier but well worth it.
There are some tacky shops in this area, but there are some good ones too.
The best situation is the Sea Food restaurant that is in the hill overlooking OluDeniz bay.
Take your significant partner and have a romantic evening watching the sun set over the bay.
Good Food, Good wine, and.....ah...the moment.

It has to be sea bass, or monk fish, but...what about the lobster...damn it money penny they were all good!
