One of the beauties of bare boat sailing off the coast of Turkey is mooring off an outer island or secluded coastal bay where the only access is by sea, and having the local chef grill whatever's on the menu for that evening, whether it be fish, chicken or pizza. And the local wines are great.
The Rainbow restaraunt in Hisaronu was my favourite. I went a couple of times 10 years ago when Hisaronu was a lonely, sleepy village that had a couple of pensions. Now I am afraid this resteraunt is no longer, and sadly Hisaronu has become a tourist trap.Fidans in Turunc is a lovely place also, but it is 5 years since I was last there. I hope to remedy this soon !!Excellent quality food always found even in the smallest place !! Borek -cheese wrapped in filo pastry. Look out for those cooked on large round stones - the best !!Stews - the traditional fayre with the tenderest meat ever.Seafood is also very good on the coast.
All restaurants offering good food, but be careful to choose clean restaurants.Prices are acceptable for everyone I think. Turkey national cuisine is really good, I can´t say that any kind of meal is not good.
Street food! Amazing breads + salads. Did not experience any problems w/ hygiene but eat cooked vegetables if unsure. Anything with eggplantAll Turkish breadTurkish coffee will keep you awake for several months (and keep you regular)!
My favorite restaurant in Alanya is Heikin baari (Heikki's bar). It is a turkish restaurant but two of the waiters speak finnish. The whole place is like a temple for Mika Häkkinen...For me as a finnish girl, the special thing about this place is of course that the waiters speak finnish. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is also very friendly and relaxing. Not to mention the food... yam! My favorite food is barbequed chicken... mmmmm! REALLY GOOD in Turkey!

Bella Gusto is situated on the promenade in Olu Deniz. With Bannana plants throughout and Italian music playing the atmosphere is truely superb .Whilst the food is the best we have tasted ,the beer the most thirst quenching ,it is the staff that make this the place to visit .Yusuf and Derya(Call Him Mr Sanyel he is very important )the owners are fanastic hosts and cater for your every need .Ibo the head waiter is the most professional you will meet and with Levent (look out for his card tricks )behind the bar ,Ferhat (so friendly)and Tuncer this believe me is a restaurant once you visit will never forget Tornado Rossini 14 (yes 14 oz ) Fillet Steak in a sauce to die for
We did a journey by boat and little boats come along side and cook the crepes on request. There is a kind of crepe which you can buy all over the place, and you can all different fillings, like meat, cheese and even chocolate. Highly recommendable.
For those who will be in or around Oludeniz, try BUZZ Restaurant on the waterfront in Oludeniz.Not only the food but the service is the best you can get from this well established restaurant.In the evenings Buzz Bar is the ideal spot for a sunset drink DO NOT MISS IT... Freshly caught grilled amberjack.If its not on the menu the staff will go fishing for you
