I had half-pension accommodation in the Sahinler hotel. So I hadn’t any problem with supper every evening after my daytime excursions and before my late evening excursions. I prefer HP in my tours because it helps save time and no need to think where to eat in the evening.The meal in Sahinler was arranged as buffet. It was quite delicious and variously. This is an extraordinary place with wonderful view at the Bosphorus located on its shore close to the Semsi Ahmed Pasa Mosque and Üsküdar Lighthouse. All over Europe we learn to eat the legendary Turkish kebab, some are good and some are not, this is the same in Turkey, in some places the kebab is made for the tourist and cost 5 times more, but if you get it where the local’s eat it, it will be much better & cheaper.

Turkish food is a real mix of European and Mediterranean, they use lots of meat and vegetables but only mild spices which are not too hot. In most cases I like the food but sometimes I think it is just too fat and too much for someone who do not need to grow anymore ;-)

La Gondola Restaurant is an Italian restaurant located in the premises of all inclusive Hotel WOW Kremlin Palace at Kundu, approximately 25 kilometres from the heart of Antalya. When you stay at this hotel for at least one week, you are eligible to dine at this restaurant free-of-charge once a week. This is an a la carte restaurant where you choose your dishes from the menu. Drinks including wine, beer and liquor are all inclusive. The restaurant is quite large, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Dress code is required to enter the restaurant. Services are impeccable. The food is excellent it has to be said! We chose pasta zucchini, pizza margareta, Italian style fried chicken with sallads and potatoes and dessert cake for our dinner.

Stolitsa Restaurant is the hotel's main restaurant where most of the meals are served daily including buffet breakfast, buffet lunch, buffet dinner and buffet supper. Meal times are fixed for example breakfast is only served between 7.00 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. This is a very large restaurant with a seating capacity for at least one thousand diners as the hotel has 837 rooms. The restaurant is clean, well decorated, brightly-lit and is comfortable. The services are impeccable it has to be said.

Buzz Beach Bar: Freshest and tastiest food in Olu Deniz

Best place for food and drink in Olu Deniz. Located on the beachfront, with two floors, the ground floor is the grill/restaurant and upstairs is the bar. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere, with chillout music playing. The upstairs bar is a great place to watch the sunset in the evening with a cocktail.The food however is the best thing about the Buzz Bar. It is so fresh and tasty. The Lavash(fresh bread) you get with the Kebabs is really good. My girlfriend had the Sweet Prawn Salad which looked and tasted amazing.

If you want to drink Turkish coffee you must decide for sugar also. Sade(No sugar), sekerli(sweet), orta(medium, less sweet) If you find fortune teller, try it. We usually don't believe it but nice to listen. :-))

We stopped by this little restaurant as it looked quite inviting and we were thirsty! We got talking to a Yorkshire lady who lives in Turgutries and works for the family that run this place. My husband was going on about wanting a T bone steak and we were quickly invited back that evening to have one! I did warn him that it probably won't be the same as back home, but he wouldn't listen! Anyway, we ventured back to this little place to be greeted very warmly by the guys and quickly shown a table. I have to say the meal was great, could not fault what I had but my husband wasn't too happy with his. I had sirloin, mash, and fresh veg. My husbands steak was not like it would be at home and he was rather dissapointed in the size of it, being quite small for a T bone. One of the guys came out and asked him if he was enjoying it, and he said that he thought it would be bigger!! With that and...

The Nutters Beach Bar - Turgutries: Great BBQ Nights!

We got talked into spending an evening at this restaurant just by walking by it one morning. We thought, well this sounds quite good, lets book a table. We were told about Sat nights are BBQ nights and entertainment thrown in for 15 Lira each. The entertainment can vary from week to week and we were told it would be some break dancing and a belly dancer. I thought ok, let's go with an open mind, as you never know how bad or good these nights can be in places like this.We arrived and was shown to our table and the atmosphere looked great, with it all dimly lit and flame tourches everywhere.The meal was in my opnion good value for money as it's not cheap to eat out anymore in Turkey. We were given, steak, chicken and lamb all done on the BBQ, a jacket potato and rice and salad, it was delicious. The belly dancer came on first and she was good, and went around the men who were tucking money...
