Medusa Restaurant: Great food, reasonable price
The Medusa Restaurant is situated half a block past the basilica cictern. The majority of the restaurants in this area are very touristy and overpriced with okay food. Medusa is somewhat away from the may tourist stretch, and the food is marvelous. It is medium priced, however, it is worth it if you want to eat in the area (Sulthamet, Hagia Sophia/Blue Mosque area) because the food is delicious and the majority of restaurants here are very average at best. Although hummus isnt seen at most restaurants in Istanbul, they have it here and it is excellent. Hummus
