2012 Rize plateaus festival days

There are so many pleteaus in Rize and they nearly all have their festival days. It s nice to be with locals. Just join with them and enjoy the life.I tried to translate most of them. U can find festival pictures or videos at google or youtube. Huser plateau

Huser plateau is one of the hidden natural beauties of Ayder region,from Ayder by walk; it may approximately take 2.5 hours to come to '' Huser '' . Traditional houses of '' Huser '',butterflies,different type of flowers,wonderful landscape,welcoming individuals is making this place so unique than others.

Photosafari around Avusor plateau

Avusor is not a well known place around east part of black sea region.Only the tracking groups knows this plateau,from the centre of the town to the main plateau it takes as about one hour by walk.There is also a crater lake at the top of the mountain,the height is approximately 2200 meters.During your walking path,all of the ground is totally surrounded by the flowers so called '' Safran '' in Turkish as you can see from my photo as well.Summers are really enjoyable if you would like to listen the sounds of nature only.Professional equipment is required like bags,hats and sweaters during your journey in order to prevent from unexpected weather conditionsTransportation to the town from the main popular touristical attractions of the region Ayder is not so easy I would say.I strongly recommend you to take guide if you would like to travel around Avensur.

Polavit waterfall

If you are going to come to this waterfall from Trabzon,you have to follow the following path specified below;Trabzon/Rize/Camlihemsin/Zilkale/Sensuya villageIt is a little bit difficult to find the way to this so called polavit waterfall cause there is no sign during the road,you have to ask the road to someone from the village.Some of the paths through the forest,it is not possible to use any kind of car for your information.But the nature is so amazing to discover if you like to walk among the undiscovered trees as you can see from my photo.

Playing horon in Ayder

Horon is one of the traditional dance of black sea part of Turkey,more or less everyone who are living around these region knows how to play this dance. This dance is generally danced either a chain of women or men. Do not miss to try this dance while you are in Ayder.

Kackar mountains

Tasting traditional dishes in Pokut plateau

Pokut plateau is one of the most well known areas of black sea part of Turkey,very famous about its natural beauties,flowers and its traditional plateau houses.One of the classical houses of Pokut is been restored for touristical activities including breakfast,dinner and accommodation issues.The staff in the house is so lovely,warm and welcoming especially to foreign guests.Breakfasts are so nice unique in this place where you may find the chance to taste so called '' Mihlama '' (mixture of traditional cheeses with eggs,salt,oil sometimes potato),traditional honey,olives,chees you may realize from my photo.

Ayder town also named as ayder plateau is one of the unique places of black sea part of Turkey where you can discover different variations of turkish culture in terms of nature,dressing style,food,dancing style etc... The region is just 2 hour away from Trabzon international airport,easy to come and reach by car.Several hotels,restaurants are located around the town varying between one stars to four.All of the places are very clean and comfortable in general.You will easy discover how the colour of green meets and intersects with nature in a fantastic way like my photo around the village.

Senyuva village

Senyuva village is located 30-40 minutes away from ''Camlihemsin town'' by car and as about 1 hour away from Rize city.Village is so quite and unique.The nature is also great for those who interested to make tracking and mountaining activities.More or less all of the town is totally surrounded by different type of trees,flowers and classical type of black sea houses.Unfortunately most of the people can not speak English very well,but they will all be pleased to offer a fantastic turkish tea to all of the individuals.
