In a nutshell
Although Çorlu is a small town, I find the locals very friendly and warm
Çorlu has a new attraction in town. If you like ice skating, you can enjoy Buz Park. Although it's quite small in size, it's good enough for an hour. There is also a café where you can enjoy something to eat or drink.

My wife is fond of local markets. In Çorlu, there are 2 options : Tuesday and Thursday markets. Their locations are different as well as their dates, but they more or less provide similar options for shopping. Clothes, textiles, fruits and vegetables are the main highlights. The Thursday market is located near the town center of Çorlu.

Orion is the only shopping mall in Çorlu. It has a cinema, a bowling alley, a nice food court, some cafés and many more shops. It is one of the lively spots in Çorlu and it is very popular by the young generation.

Here is an answer on how to pass your time in Çorlu : Play bowling with family and friends. In Orion Shopping Mall, you can find a bowling alley called Starion. Compared to Istanbul, the prices are cheaper and the place is not as crowded as the popular bowling alleys. You can enjoy a nice evening here and after bowling you can just enter the food court to enjoy your meal.

As I have said earlier, there is not much to see around Çorlu. However, you can still take a walk around the town and discover more. There are some nice statues, fountains and monuments which make Çorlu more interesting. If you have time and the weather is good, start walking and enjoy the town.

Sampi is a big chain restaurant in Turkey and it has many branches all around. It's specialty is the Turkish pide with various options for the ingredients. In Çorlu, there is also a branch available in Orion shopping mall. I have tried different pides here and they were all delicious. The service is very fast and friendly. You can also order from home.

We call baked potatoes "Kumpir" in Turkish and this restaurant takes it name from there. We tried here with my wife and enjoyed the freshly made kumpir with delicious ingredients such as mushrooms, corn, green peas, sausages, carrot with yoghurt, butter and cheese. Of course you have more alternatives than what I have listed. They have an extensive menu and they have other options such as meatballs, sandwiches, toasts, etc.

Manti is the Turkish style ravioli. In Çorlu, you have the chance to taste it. Manti Keyfi is located in Orion Shopping Mall. There are different types of dough used to make manti and you can choose it from the menu. I was very impressed with the taste and quality of the manti here and it is very close to homemade manti. The staff is very friendly and fast. The prices are reasonably cheap.

This is the most popular barbecue restaurant in Çorlu. Coming from butcher origins, Yerciler has years of experience in meat and they share it with us in this restaurant. You can choose a mix platter of meat and enjoy the taste. You have the flexibility to customize your platter like 300 gr from meatballs, 500 gr from sirloin and so on. They have fast service and the prices are incredibly reasonable. I would say 20 TL per person will be the average for a proper meal with drinks. I can say that this is my favorite place in Çorlu so far.

This is a real "meyhane" at eski Balikpazari. There are five tables and a wood stove. The decoration is from 1950s. They do not have full service meal but you must try it for the sake of the atmosphere.
Favorite Dish: Piyaz. The best in Corlu.
