    Al Ibrahimi: Asian food

by uglyscot Updated Sep 18, 2013

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

From the outside the restaurant looks large, but on entering it seems quite small, although there is a buffet on the upper level, whereas the ground floor is very basic.
There a lot of staff available, and quite a lot of customers at lunchtime.
The service was good and the food was tasty. We had fish with garlic sauce, and chicken chowmien, and a plate of salad and chappatis.

Favorite Dish: Both dishes were good, and tasty and not overly spiced.
The two dishes cost us 30AED
The nice chicken chow mien was so plentiful that I couldn't eat it all.

Reminiscent of an exclusive club, with low lighting, candles and dark wooden furniture. The menu includes the traditional mezze, as well as some enticing seafood dishes

in Abu Dhabi, Al Birkeh is a must-visit on your trip to this emirate.

Al Birkeh is a huge restaurant with tables that can seat up to 25 people. The interiors of this restaurant are simply furnished and not very opulent. There is a giant television screen wherein you can enjoy sports broadcasts or television programs.

The service at Al Birkeh, Abu Dhabi is efficient and prompt. Young and charming waiters take care of their guests' needs and go about following orders smoothly. Some of them are multilingual and can communicate with foreigners easily.

India Palace: is a true blessing.

    by amna24 Written Jan 15, 2008

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Located on Salam Street in Abu Dhabi, India Palace is undoubtedly one of the best Indian restaurants in the city. Elegant, opulent and 'Indian' in its feel, India Palace is highly appealing to the Indian expatriate community in Abu Dhabi.

Designed like a Rajasthani palace, this restaurant of Abu Dhabi is extremely attractive and unique. The entrance is made of an exquisitely carved heavy wooden door. Once inside, you enter a different world altogether, a scenic and pleasant environment.

The tables are made of intricate wood work and have gold metal plates and cups on them. The walls are adorned with beautiful paintings that depict Indian regality. Erstwhile Indian rulers and maharajas are shown in various scenes of lavishness.

At the center of the marbled entrance of India Palace Abu Dhabi is built a gold elephant that appears to be guarding the palace. Serene and pleasant, India Palace is certainly a must-visit on Abu Dhabi tours.

Mouthwatering cuisines from all parts of India are served here. Indian tourists love coming here when they miss home-cooked food. For the huge number of Indians residing in Abu Dhabi, India Palace is a true blessing.

The waiters at India Palace are impeccably dressed and extremely hospitable, exemplifying Indian traditions to the hilt. Their service is matchless and properly organized.

India Palace, Abu Dhabi is open between 12 noon and 3 pm for lunch, and between 7 pm and 11.30 pm for dinner. You will have to shelve out 160 Dirhams for an average meal of two persons. All major credits cards are accepted here.

Moreover, I like to make birthday surprise for my friends overhere because I like there way of celebrating and there songa. but, I hate when we go outside the resturant our cloth smell very bad like if I am standing in the the middel of the kitchen while the chief is cooking.

Favorite Dish: Molten cake ( mixxed of chocolate cake with hot chocolate souce and vanilla ice cream on top covered with iced chocolate) Yummmy. But I have to avoid it because I am putting wieght.

So I replaced it with the delecious salad the QUESADILLA EXPLOSION Salad

Lebanese Flower: To put on the great budget eating list!

    by Delia_Madalina Updated Aug 2, 2012

    3 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

With a strong Lebanese community, almost every hotel and street corner in Abu Dhabi features a Lebanese restaurant or bakery.

After trying several 5*s options and their lower-budget "cousins", I've decided that the Lebanese Flower is worth its fame and the little money you pay as compared to similar venues across the city. It's a very casual location with basic indoor and outdoor seating. As soon as you're seated, a bottle of water, fresh backed fluffy bread and a bowl of vegetable land on your table.

The menu offers all the Lebanese classic hot and cold mezze and grills. For breakfast, foul is not to be missed. It also has an extenssive list of non-alcoholic drinks and their cocktail fresh is amazing.

With tea and various mezze we generally spend approx. AED 50 per person (approx. USD 13 EUR 11).

There is no need for reservation but due to its popularity it's very crowded. You can also stop by with your car, place an order and within minutes your take-away is ready.

Favorite Dish: Fattoush, tabouleh and falafel
