The mall has provision for 160 retail outletswith diffrent stores like debenhams, accessorise, Naomi, via spega..etc .As well as resturants and cafe. moreovver, there is a three story supermarket (Lulu) for grocery.In the near future the mall will also include amusement area. Souk is the Arabic word of market or place where any kind of goods are bought or exchanged.
There are different souks:
Before we had a very nice traditional Old Central Souk: Sheikh Hamdan Street.where you can find souviners and other very cheap stuf. The goverment decided to renew the Souq and to build it as the attached design.
Acutly the AD Souk is not yet finished but it will be acomplished within few years Y 2011. However, you can go to the rest of souk like al meana, fish Market, Iranian Market..etc.
What to buy: Fish Market: at Al Meena area you can buy fresh fish, lobaster, shrims...etc there also you can ask the seller to grill what you choose.
Iranian Souk: at Al Meena area you will have a wide range of goods of very cheap rate pargain as much as you can.
Meena Souk: at Al Meena Road you can buy carpets, rugs,cookware,..etc
