To get there, you have to take the boat. Check in just before UAE heritage village at Marina mall.
You have to pay 15 dhs upon arrival, but the return trip is included.
Lullu Island is a barren man made island in front of Abu dhabi coastline which servers as a peaceful picnic spot. It has its own beach. You can cook, play, swim on the beach. It has its own restaurants also and should develop soon as a major tourist spot. From Corniche Road take right towards marina mall. Before reaching marina mall take another right towards UAE flag pole which you can see from a good distance. Before you reach the pole, park your car on the right. Walk towards Heritage village and you will see a sign board that says "To Lullu Island". Boats will ferry across to the island. This is free 10 mins ride only. Upon getting down from boat you will come across ticket counter where you will be charges 15 DHS to enter the island. Pay and board a bus. Bus will take a round of the island and ask the driver to stop the bus whereever you want to camp.
