The Dibba Rock is one of the most picturesque rocks in the area. It is also interesting for diving and snorkeling. They say that Table Coral, Sea Turtle, Arabian Angelfish, Butterflyfish, Blacktip Reef Shark and many different kinds of fish you can find there. As well as the odd black tip reef shark that cruise the reefs.

Dibba Al-Hisn is an enclave of the emirate of Al-Sharja. It is bordered by the Gulf of Oman from the East, Dibba Al-Baya from the North, and Dibba Al-Fujairah from the South.
We reached Dibba Al-Hisn by bus from Ras Al Khaimah anf Fujairah.
You can get there from Sharjah to Al Dhaid (50 km) along the E611 national road, then to Masafi (30 km) along the E18 road and the E88 national road when make a turn in Masafi.
The roads are rather good (two lines in each way). But the E88 national road to Diba Al Hisn has only one line in each way.
If the weather becomes stormy and it's getting dangerous to swim in the ocean you will see a red flag over the beach.
Do you want to see 5 out of all 7 Arab Emirates during one day? Certainly I do and certainly you do! So when living in Sharjah I learnt about one day excursion with the name “Five Arab Emirates” I didn’t hesitate and bought it for $100 from Al Khalidian Tourism.
The excursion began just after breakfast at 8.00 and was over just before supper at 20.00. So, in my opinion, 12-hours and 350-km trip along 5 Arab Emirates (Adjman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Sharjah) with a dinner in Diba Al Hisn and 2 hours on its ocean beach was a very pleasant and interesting ride which I’ll remember all my life!
Dibba, sometimes spelled Diba or Daba, is a coastal region at the northeastern tip of the UAE/Oman peninsula on the Gulf of Oman. After historical land disputes, Dibba has been divided into three parts. One division for Oman and two divisions for UAE: Dibba Al-Fujairah ruled by the Emirate of Fujairah, Dibba Al-Hisn ruled by the Emirate of Sharjah and Dibba Al-Baya ruled by the Governorate of Musandam, Oman.
I happened to visit that part of Dibba which belongs to the Emirate of Sharjah.
