The blue souq is the largest souq in Sharjah - and it's especially magnificent for its architecture and islamic design. There are two main wings with about 600 shops - and the wings are connected with overhead covered tunnels. In one you can buy gifts and electronics, in the other gold, gems and jewels. Upstairs prices are cheaper than downstairs prices, because the rent for these shops is lower.

This one is very small. It has few artifacts. you'll probably spend 10 minutes looking around. It was not aouse but a erception area for guest of this wealth man.

This is not just a place where to shop, it's also a nice big building where to spend a few hours even just going around and watch.
In the afternoon it shops are supposed to open at 4 but you can go even before like we had to do and you will find many of them opened anyway.
It is also definitly a cheaper place than Dubai so the taxi rate is worth if you intend to shop. Leave a Comment

During the cooler months (it's now November and perfect weather in the evenings) walk along the Corniche. You'll find locals and tourists doing the same and for views it's spectacular. At night the buildings are lit up, and there's a fountain with different coloured lights. There are quite a few coffee places along the walkway and places to sit down, including grass areas where local families eat together. You'll also see joggers at night. Leave a Comment
